Notifications can be distracting from your work or create a disturbing experience. Some of these notifications may not be necessary to the user, and they can be turned off.
Malwarebytes categorizes notifications as either non-critical or critical. Most critical notifications cannot be turned off, but we understand if a user does not want to receive pop-ups that are purely informative.
Critical notifications include warnings when Real-Time Protection is off, for example. A non-critical notification will inform you of smaller items, such as when a task is complete.
